Getting started with your card
I’ve got my card. What is the first thing I should do?
Sign up for the Tinkoff app. Go to the home screen, enter your phone number, and confirm with the access code from the text message. Done! Now you can top up your card and go shopping.
How do I activate my card?
In most cases, the Tinkoff representative will help you activate your card when they bring it to you together with your contract. But if, for some reason, you decide to activate your card yourself later, this is easy to do in the app.
Select your card on the home screen → if the card is yet to be activated, the app will ask you to enter the card number and expiration date → answer the questions → confirm the action by text message. You're all set! Now you can use your Tinkoff card.
How do I change my PIN?
In the mobile app choose the card on the "Main" screen → scroll down to "Card settings" → "Change PIN code".
How do I set spending limits?
Select your card from the list of accounts → "Card limit" → "Change".
This is how to protect yourself from fraud or cap your own spending — for example, if you’re trying to save up for a major purchase.
How do I search the app?
You will find a search bar at the top of the home screen, and in the "Payments" and "Services" tabs.
You can search for anything there: a provider to pay for services, a theater to buy tickets, tips on how to raise or shrink the limit, how to reset the PIN or any other helpful information you may need.
How can I quickly troubleshoot a problem?
Find the "Chat" tab at the bottom of the screen → simply write your question.

Alternatively, call the bank at 8 800 333-33-33 and tell our bot about your problem. The bot will either help you or transfer your call to a specialist who can help you.
