How do I log in to the Tinkoff mobile app?

  1. Download the Tinkoff app to your phone.
  2. If this is your first time logging into the app, enter the phone number you indicated on your Tinkoff product application form. You’ll get a text message with the access code to this number. You can log in to the app using a Russian or foreign phone number.
  3. After that, enter your password. If you don’t have a password yet, enter or scan in your card number and then create a password.
  4. Create a four-digit faster access code for the app. You will have to enter it twice.

How do I switch the app language to English?

To switch languages, in the Tinkoff app go to "Еще" → "Настройки" → "Язык" → select "English".

How can I restore my password to sign in to the Tinkoff app or my profile on tinkoff.ru?

If you forgot your access code for the Tinkoff app, tap your profile at the top of the "Main" screen → "Log out" at the very bottom.
To log back in, you will need to enter the phone number you indicated on your Tinkoff product application form. You’ll get a text message with the access code to this number. Then you need to enter your password. You will need to set your password again when you have entered an incorrect access code to the app three times in a row.
If you forgot your password, tap "Forgot password?" You will need to enter or scan in your card number, then enter your new password and the four-digit access code.
If you forgot the password for the profile on tinkoff.ru, click "Forgot password?" on the log-in page. Then enter your card or contract number. After that, you will receive an SMS with the access code to the phone number you indicated on your Tinkoff product application form. Enter this code and create a new password.
Remember that the log-in and password you use to access your profile and the app are the same. If you change the password for your profile, it will also change for the Tinkoff app.

How do I change my password?

To change your password, in your profile go to "Settings" → "Main settings" → "Login and authorization". Select "Password" and click "Change".
Enter your old password, then the new password, and confirm the new password by entering it again. To permanently change your password, enter the code you get in the text message.

How can I set up for access without a password?

This is only possible for the Tinkoff app. If your phone capability allows it, you can set up Touch ID (fingerprint) or Face ID (face capture) access.
To do this, tap "More" on the bottom pane in the Tinkoff app → "Settings" → "Login and authorization" → "Use biometric data".
If the last item is missing, it is likely that your phone does not support logging in with biometric data. Check your phone’s default settings to see if this is the case.

How do I set a strong login and password?

It is safer to create a custom password for your Tinkoff app and your profile on tinkoff.ru. Make sure this password is different from those you use for your mailbox and other apps.
Here are the benchmarks of a strong login and password:
  • the password and login must contain 6 to 20 digits, symbols and Latin letters
  • the login must begin with a Latin letter
  • the following symbols can be used: dot (.), at (@), hyphen (-), underline (_)
  • no spaces are allowed between the characters of a login or password.
