The Markswebb Rank & Report research agency has published an annual survey on effectiveness of online banks for small businesses (Business Internet Banking Rank 2017). According to the survey, Tinkoff Bank is ranked among the top three most effective banks across three small business categories: sole proprietors without employees, merchants, and companies engaged in international trade, coming in third, second, and second best, respectively.

Based on the survey results, Markswebb Rank & Report highlighted key trends for the online segment: the banks will continue their transformation with a view to attracting micro business customers, introducing fast connect services, developing transparent tariff systems and cost management solutions, creating simple interfaces for online and mobile banking apps.
The survey methodology included usability testing of 42 respondents, opening of current accounts with the participating banks, testing of online banks, as well as comparison of working practices and data analysis.
